Happy New Year

This year has been one for the books (get it, books?)

Hard to believe, almost a year ago I took the trip of a lifetime, driving from Texas to California via New Mexico. I visited friends, saw Joshua Tree National Park, spent the night in Laurel Canyon, saw the Eagles in their (non)native California, had dinner with the iconic photographer, Henry Diltz (thanks to Debbie Kruger) and almost died in a blizzard in Flagstaff, AZ (‘because Arizona is supposed to be desert and not blizzard,’ says naive New Yorker that had never been to Arizona).

I also released my third book, Flipping the Record, which to date is my most successful novel! I am beyond excited and branched out to do a whole lot of things that I never thought I’d do. Like book signings, and ISBN numbers, and navigating the self-publishing world which is NOT as easy as people think it is.

This year, I came to the conclusion, that I’m not nearly as scared as my thoughts sometimes make me believe, and even if I am, I can do the scary, hard things anyway.

You can, too.

I hope 2024 allows you to do the scary, wonderful, heart-palpitating adventures it has in store for you!

I’m hoping to have book 4 ready for release at some point in 2024, so stay tuned! I’m hoping for new adventures with friends and family. I’m hoping for health and happiness for myself, my loved ones, and for you.

Thank you for helping to make 2023 my most successful author year yet and I hope you’ll stay for the journey in 2024 and beyond.

Happy New Year!
